  1. krogh's is one of the best microbrewerys in nj! another, further away, is the long valley brew pub...still krogh's is the best, not only for their pub food (which is very good!) also their dinners are good-even better are their dinner specials-one of the best is the blackened mahi-mahi with fresh pineapple salsa!-use to call up before going there to see if they were running it for that night! great beers, although long valley brew pub has hands down the best micro brews around. in their bar area they have all their banners for gold and silver medal winning beers from the state brew fests! nice places to go for lunch on a nice spring day when you want to take the time to drive into the country for the day! :)
  2. i was thinking of something like eccola/eccolaqui or blue sky; however i was looking for that same type of open kitchen set up in a place in nj that i have yet to dine. its great to enjoy a great meal while you can observe the kitchen set-up from your seat!
  3. i was wondering if there were any suggestions for great restaurants in the state that have open kitchens?
  4. the food at mexicali rose is pretty good but they rush you so much that we were in and out in 45 minutes and we even stalled our server by ordering apps first before ordering our food; did not even have time to finish my margarita!!!
  5. best wings in new jersey depends on your locale; kroghs in sparta has great wings, so does the long valley brew pub in long valley then again, so does gaffers pub in west orange.
