so much inspiration here! i plan on going the 'artisanal' route this christmas, so i was happy to come across this thread.. i love the limoncello idea! i'm going to have to steal that one. this year i was thinking of fleur de sel caramels, jars of dulce de leche (so simple and seems more impressive than it actually is..), florentines, gingerbread cookies, jars of pasta sauce, flavoured oils... and, of course, a mix cd. i don't feel right giving a gift that doesn't include a mix cd.
