  1. many years ago Paulins had a very chewy cookie covered with chocolate. Insanely delicious. Would anyone have a recipe or similar recipe for these cookies. I would love to make some of these for a very dear friend for Christmas.
  2. Congratulations Kerry. Love the workplace. Will be down to see my daughter September for a month. You will have to let me know if you have any classes available, interested in learning airbrushing. Love all those molds especially the ones that are for sale!!
  3. please be more specific regarding which recipe. if you're talking about the one with caramel on the bottom which is topped with ganache...i don't think it would freeze well. the caramel will probably not fare well with freezing and defrosting. ← Sorry, it is just the dough part I am talking about. I use this recipe for making the bottom of my Black Forest Cake. I have to make two cakes in early July for a wedding party and I will be away for a short period not having time to make and prepare everything.
  4. Question: Can this recipe be baked then frozen? or should I just prepare it and then freeze it before baking?
  5. I knew I had a recipe in my library somewhere lol. Okay here it is: It is in Oetker German Home Baking. It calls for a Pastry: Sponge mixture: Filling etc. If anyone is interested in the recipe I would be happy to send it to you via email (quite long so therefore would scan and email. I have it either in English or German.
  6. The pate brisee would work but I need to make it chocolate. Would you happen to have a recipe which would include cocoa?
  7. Good Afternoon. I am looking for an original German Black Forest Cake with the cookie bottom, sour cherries etc. Does anyone have a recipe for this. I have lots of cookbooks but cannot find one with the cookie on the bottom. I need to make this for a gentleman for his birthday. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
