  1. I'm trying to make chocolate covered strawberries. I melted semi-sweet chocolate w/ a little cream and dipped the strawberries. Is there a better way to get the chocolate to stick to the strawberry? I tried throwing them in the freezer for about 10 minutes after dipping them,but the chocolate didn't stick as well as I've seen other chocolate covered strawberries. Is there someone who can help me ? I need to make them on thursday and I don't wanna look like a fool!!!!
  2. I've recently been put into a job where I'll be giving cooking demonstrations for groups of 8-10 people.i have some recipes,but I'm always looking for more & better. So if you could help a brother out.....

    Chili con Carne

    One of my favorite Chili's is "Black Bean Chicken Chili" I use lotsa fresh chopped cilantro. I also throw in a scoop of peanut butter to give it a nutty aroma (Creamy,not chunky) just substitute the chicken for the beef. Substitute Black beans for chili beans. This chili is thinner than "normal"chili, but it's a break from the norm!
  4. I use blackened chicken,pan fried sweet corn,caramelized onion,and pepperjack cheese.I usually serve it with lime sour cream(lime juice & sour cream to taste) and guacamole.

    Tuna Salad

    For my Tuna Salad,I'll use some chopped scallions,toasted almonds,hard boiled egg,mayo,and some teriyaki sauce.Sometimes I'll add a little crushed red pepper for some heat if that's your thing! Hope you enjoy!! Maybe 2 or 3 teaspoons of teriyaki,not much more or you'll oversalt. The green in the scallions counter the brown teriyaki.
