  1. A friend and I have started one http://damnedgoodfood.blogspot.com Let me know what you all think, suggestions would be great!
  2. I dont know if i can say its the best, but i really like the chow fun with gravy at Sweet & Tart. Im not sure if they actually put it on the menu though, because I just order it in chinese
  3. You know whats even more mysterious? How did we figure out that mold (cheese) would taste good? Why would we even eat something like cheese in the first place, it stinks and its mold?
  4. For a good cheese steak i like Tony Luke's or Pat's. Pat's isnt a sit down place though
  5. I enjoy picnic garden. Its pretty good for a buffet, and relatively inexpensive for what you can get. The only gripe i have is that their ventilation is not really great so you end up smelling like BBQ the whole day
  6. sometimes people are just ignorant, whether its about food, culture, and just about anything else people dont understand or dont try to understand
  7. If I had long hair I would put it up... I dont think my customers would appreciate hair in their food haha
  8. Just went to Lolita on Thursday. I thought the food was great. Its a small place though and they dont take reservations for the weekends.
  9. wow... and to think, i thought a $30 dinner was expensive haha i think id rather just buy a car
  10. Im just looking for somewhere nice to eat that is close by Chinatown. Whenever I visit I stay at a friends place and they live in Chinatown, so somewhere that is close by there would be nice. Im open to almost anything that isnt asian food, since thats the only thing i eat in Philly. Looking for something thats not too expensive and a little romantic.
  11. Id have to agree with most people here and say Lakeside. The Chinatown isnt that large and Id say they have the best dim sum around there. The people are nice and the food is decent. I only say decent because Im from NYC and the food is definetly alot better there. Besides, Lakeside may be closing soon because the owners may be retiring
  12. Im going to visit Philly, but everytime I visit I always eat in Chinatown. Im looking for a good place to eat, that isnt too expensive but good for a date.
  13. I dont know about Texas but in NYC Chinese people are pretty open to all asian foods. I wouldnt really generalize all the Chinese into one category though. Although, it is typical for a Chinese person not to like cheese, partly because many of them are lactose as CMN mentioned
