I rather thought is was obvious. Sticky desk, sticky chair, sticky hands. Remarkably no pie got on the keyboard.
Ha ha! I almost replied that you were busy cleaning gooey, delicious pie filling from your keyboard.

It's just a ordinary A19, E26 base bulb.
You could also look for a bulb rated for an enclosed fixture. They’re more heat tolerant by design.

You also get a free workout schlepping all those heavy pots, pans, etc. from your driveway into your kitchen, then washing and putting them away. 💪🦵

@blue_dolphin Have you thought about having a refrigerator only in the kitchen, with a separate freezer where your interim fridge freezer is? No clue as to your current space and dimensions, or availability of units to achieve the split setup, but it’s possibly worth considering.

The delivery guy said it would take about 6 hrs for the temps to stabilize so I haven't put anything in yet. It's been holding -5 to -7Ï in the freezer and 35°F in the fridge for a while now so I think I'll put some ice cube trays in the freezer and start moving fridge stuff in. Given what I tossed, I believe the fridge part will handle most of what's left. I didn't lose anything from the freezer so that's going to be more of a crunch and I'll probably have to toss some stuff. The new fridge just has one shelf so I need to get some little tubs or shoe boxes to organize things.
They would have removed the old fridge but since the freezer never warmed up and the fridge is still maintaining 50°F which is OK for fruits and veg in the short term, I didn't take them up on it. Lord only knows what's behind there but once it's emptied, I'll be able to wiggle it out and see!
I’m quite certain that you’ll find lots of Patrick and Michael’s “treasures” under there. All the twist ties and bread bag lock thingies and bottle caps that have gone missing over the years.

So I could turn off the switch.
Long answer:
Last weekend I installed new firmware in my Wi-Fi access point. Afterwards two smart outlets were not responsive. This typically happens when I make changes to the access point. I know from past experience all that is required is to manually turn the outlets off and on. One of the outlets I could reach. The other is underneath a desk. Even in the best of times it is difficult for me get underneath the desk. These are not the best of times.
Thus I removed the aforementioned switch protector and turned off the wall switch, waited a few moments and turned the wall switch back on. Neglecting to remember that the freezer is controlled by the same wall switch as the smart outlet. Which is the reason I got the switch protector in the first place. Afterwards the smart outlet worked just fine.
Tonight I cleaned the freezer and used a little bleach. I shall miss the ice cream.
Ah, now I understand. Still, sorry for your losses and all the extra work.

Thank you for asking. No. But that has nothing to do with the freezer.
I now realize that I accidentally turned off the freezer last weekend when I turned off a light switch.
You need these. Many styles and installation options available.

I have three small measuring glasses that I found in antique stores. The smallest one may be little smaller than a shot glass and the other two are not a lot bigger. Each measures have 4 teaspoons equal 1 Tablespoon. Does anyone know if a teaspoon size at some time in the past changed from 4 to 3 or are/do these measurements have some other application?
Search “Australian tablespoon”. Apparently they use a different standard. From WikipediaThe Australian definition of the tablespoon as a unit of volume is:[11]
1 Australian tablespoon = 20 ml ≈ 2 /3 fl oz = 2 dessertspoons, 1 dessertspoon= 10 ml each = 4 teaspoons, 1 teaspoon = 5 ml each -

Since my CSO has never regained its ability to do the steam thing, I've been satisfied with its ability to just be a toaster oven. But the steam function was nice while it worked... so when I spotted this thing: Vevor steam thingy, I think I'm going to grab one and see what it is good for...
Cool! Comes with its own “Ash Tray”! 🤣

I don't particularly care for the term "unhealthful" - its relative. But if I use dad and his wife's carcass (chicken not human!) for stock. I rarely have to add more salt.
One emoji response isn’t enough. ”… the term unhealthful” gets an EG like heart. “Dad and his wife’s carcass (chicken not human!)” 🤣🤣🤣

Somewhere on this forum there was a short discussion on sealer things that you slide across the top of things like potato chip bags to keep the contents fresh. I can't find it. Anyone?
Here’s a link to the website.

@blue_dolphinThe prettiest of my first batch. I followed this recipe, but realized when I got home from shopping that I’d forgotten to buy any lemons. Went online to get ideas and found a lot of (non popsicle) blueberry and ginger recipes, so I grabbed the ginger I had and cut a few “coins” to use for infusing the blueberries. They’re not expertly crafted, but still delicious. I was going to use the wooden sticks, but things came up unexpectedly, so I just used the plastic ones that came with the set.
Oh, and I’ll never match your beautiful tiny lettering on the sticks.😍😍- 4

@blue_dolphin My Popsicle mold arrived today. Thanks, I think…🙃
I’ll also blame Bon Appétit’s June/July issue with Yogurt-Berry Paletas on the cover.

I have this Lodge press, as well as a rectangular stainless steel press from a Calphalon grill pan/panini set. Both see pretty regular use.

And THIS is what comes of hasty writing, then hasty reading on the replies. I thought you were talking about the boudin! But yes, this was a mighty temptation. As it happens, I already have too many great "entertaining accessories" that sit gathering dust.
Maybe in a year or three I'll spot one of these for, oh, $15 at a garage sale. And then if I buy it, I'll STILL wonder what the hell I'm going to do with it. 😉
Put legs on it for a chair side table? Would hold a mug and an iPad/tablet easily! 🤣

I was waiting to see if you would get to The Pink Store this time, or if you’d developed extreme resistance to dangerous places (dangerous wallet and space wise) 🤣.

Our beach home has a rare hand dug well in the basement and a modern dug well but both can run dry if we have too many house guests. Our shower head is a bird bath mister, lol. My sister showers twice a day and needs a fresh towel every time. Tough titty princess.
Had to separate this from the rest of your reply.
🤣🤣🤣 Privilege and princess status don’t work everywhere. -
First, @Anna N I’m sorry you’re having difficulties getting your replacement. Second, I received mine today via UPS.
FYI , the drawer/basket is interchangeable between the units, could be handy for sequential cooking, or just as a backup part.
Help! Waring by Cuisinart Commercial Food Processor S blade not pulling food down/cutting it all. Any solution?

Added question (log)
Don’t try bending the blades. Is the blade unit seated all the way down? How close to the bottom of the processor bowl is the main blade? Are your staff putting the chickpeas in before or after the blade is in place?
