Without a doubt, I would like to have dinner with a great wit, and one of the most fascinating men who ever lived: Winston Churchill. (Runner up would be another great wit, Oscar Wilde.)
I like Korean food, but I've never had bibimbop. Next time I eat Korean I'm going to have to try it. BTW, anyone read the article in the NY Times dining section about Korean home cooking?
What kind of butter would this be? (I love butter, usually buy Land O' Lakes. But, since my palette isn't all that sophisticated, I really can't tell the difference between LOL and the store brand stuff.)
IMO, Jacqui is the ONLY reason to watch HOTG. As for FoodTV, there are three shows I really like: Molto Mario, Good Eats, and A Cook's Tour. (Okay, Mario Eats Italy is fun too.) I also like the cooking shows on PBS. No commercials, no Emeril.
I only have 15 or so. I usually don't cook from them. I just like to read about food and learn about cooking. I do plan to keep buying cookbooks. I just have to find a job first.
