Sorry for my comments above. I didn't read into the story enough. As a past owner of a restaurant and seen how hard some servers work in this city. I think i will forget i even said anything. I can't support any restaurant with those policies. MAN DO I FEEL SMALL!

I have been there many times and never had a bad meal. The owners are very nice and bruinch is great as well. It is a place i hope the NLIBS neighbors will support. It will be missed for me because i am no longer near by.

I just want to say thank you to all egullet members who have dined at Mandoline. It was a very hard decision to make, but my family will always come first. This gives me a chance to concentrate more on the food and less on the front of the house. I know i have alot of work ahead of me at Deuce, but i feel as if it is a rebirth for me and the passion for food i once had. I had a dream to open my own restaurant one day and for that dream came true. I will leave Sat. with my head up high and know i did everything i could do to have a successful restaurant. I hope not to have anymore sleepless nights worrying about the business side of the restaurant. Oh i forgot i have a 17 month, what's sleep! So much for going out on a quiet note Thank You Again!

It Is not upscale at all. I don't know if they have highchairs. If you call ask for Felice, she could answer all your questions. There is usually music playing and they just expanded to the upstairs. I would take my son without a worry.

My wife and I went last night for dinner. Christina and Jim both treated us great. The kitchen was nice to send out a few comp appetizers in addition to what we had already ordered. My wife and I had a great dining experience from start to finish. The one thing great about this web-site is the different opinions that everyone gives whether they are good or bad. Thats mine!

I am on both sides with this conversation. I think it falls mostly on the parents and having respect for the people around them. My wife had a I went to dinner on Sunday at Bar Ferdinand. Our son was born on our anniversary so we decided to go out as a family. We get there and the hostess tells me they have no highchair. Most families would leave at that point, we didn't. Having a 1 year old, owning your own restaurant, and don't forget being married, going out to eat is sometimes impossible. That being said my son sat on my lap and enjoyed everything that was brought out, even the apple foam. I will not cheat my son of these experiences. If my son was out of line we would exit the restaurant in a flash and try not to disturb the other patrons. Most parents don't get up and excuss themselves. That's wrong! On a side note: What a great restaurant. I think we tried everything on the menu except dessert.

The new owner had a restaurant somewhere down the shore. Friends of mine frequent ther often and they really enjoy the food. I think he is closed on Tuesdays.

I think Little Fish's menu changes daily. The restaurant was sold not to long ago. I have heard very good things since the change was made.

$29 DOLLARS. I was hesitant at first because of the price, but we got a nice response and no complaints.

I don't like to put our restaurant on the front burner, but we just added a 12oz NYS Steak with potato croquettes, roasted mushrooms, and foie gras butter. I will sometimes change the preparation but it will be on the menu throughout Spring. I was scared to put it on because of the price point, but it seems to be selling pretty well.

Mother's is no more. It was sold not to long ago. New Hope has become a restaurant wasteland. The locals are slowly moving out and the area is turning into a commerical tourist trap. My wife and I stay on the Jersey side. De Anna'a, Full Moon, No. 9, and Lambertville Station for brunch. There are some great places up Rt 29 towards Frenchtown, Milford. At one time everyone that worked in the restaurant biz in that area were very close. We would meet every Friday at the Raven for drinks, not anymore. Friends of mine went to the Mill for dinner two weeks ago and were very disappointed with everythng.I had a great meal the about 4 years ago, but haven't been back since.

It is good that they are finally getting some attention. It will always be my favorite Italian restaurant. My wife and I used often, but I don't have time to eat. It is one restaurant that I will always promote to my friends and customers. The wife does all the desserts in house. I know since their second child they are not there as much.
