  1. Hungarian Rhapsody in Southgate on Northline Rd. I have their chicken paprikas w/ flour dumplings every time I go. They also have good cabbage rolls. There's also the Hungarian Kitchen in Wyandotte on Fort Street though I've never been there myself.

    percyn, that cheesesteak looks absolutely yummy. What cut of beef did you use for it?
  3. I forget where I heard this advise from, but if you are confronted with making an either or decision just remember; A pot can imitate a frying pan, but a frying pan can never be a pot.

    Dinner! 2005

    Last night I cooked up some Youvetsi with orzo rice and big hunks of slowly braised beef. I wish I had a picture but we were so hungry not much thought was given to it. Maybe next time.
  6. Avgolemono Serves 4 as Soup. A tangy greek soup with lemon and egg. 6 c chicken stock 3/4 c rice Juice of 2 lemons Rind of 2 lemons, grated 3 eggs, slightly beaten Bring stock to boil, add rice and simmer 15-20 minutes. Slowly add lemon juice and rind to beaten egg mixture while whisking. Add 1-2 cups of hot stock slowly to egg and lemon mixture while wisking then add this mixture back to the stock and rice slowly, still wisking briskly. simmer while stirring until thickened to your liking. I like to serve this hot as an entree with pita bread, olives and sliced oranges as sides. Keywords: Mediterranean, Soup, Easy, Rice, Dinner, Lunch ( RG1493 )
