  1. i couldn't believe this cookbook is going for that much so I had to check Amazon and they had used sellers, the cheapest is $124. wow, i didn't know it was a collectible, I wonder how much more it would be with her signature. I'm going to have to put my copy in a plastic bag to keep it in Mint condition. good luck.
  2. Ouch. Reminded me when I just started this thing called cooking and instead of cutting with my finger tips down and knuckles to the blades, I was cutting with my finger tips up. still surprised that i have all my fingers. but i did slice a pc of my finger tip almost off. that was the lesson that i needed to learn how to cut correctly.
  3. call us crazy but we roasted a chicken yesterday in this crazy so cal heat. but we took the chicken and had dinner in our garden. that was well worth it. i love making chinese cold noodles, tossed with seasame oil and light soy sauce with slivers of cucumbers, carrots and shredded chicken. exactly how my mom made it.
  4. Recently been to: DUMPLING 10053 10053 E VALLEY BLVD #E 91731 EL MONTE you wouldn't expect this in El MOnte but great dumpling; nice clean restaurant. Personally, I think it's better than Ding Tai Feng
