  1. One of my favorite spots (beyond Panama Hotel, which has already been mentioned) is Miro Tea in Ballard (www.mirotea.com). Great selection of teas (I love Jasmine Pearl) and the space is beautiful and comfortable, decorated with recycled and reclaimed materials.
  2. I'm a Seattleite looking for a good place in Kent for a casual business lunch. Any ideas for me?
  3. Last night I drove by the space that used to be Il Forno in Ballard. Though it looks practically the same inside, the new signage on the outside says the restaraunt's name is Sea Breeze. Anyone know the scoop?
  4. This isn't downtown, but one of my favorite coffee places in all of Seattle is El Diablo Cuban Coffee Company on the top of Queen Anne. Picturesque walks, but the real view are the fabulous murals covering the walls...
  5. The space at the corner of NW Market and Old Ballard Ave in Ballard seems to have a name - Bal Mar. Sign in the window says they'll be opening in mid-November...
  6. Hi, Everyone, My sweetie and I are in the middle of planning our wedding celebration for late summer. Things are going well, but I need some help. We're planning a champagne & dessert reception. We're on a budget, so we will be bringing in our own food. Any ideas out there for restaurants/shops that might work with us to create yummy dessert trays that we can pick up and take with us? We're in Seattle. Any thoughts are really appreciated!
