Well i wasn't assigned a suite style dorm i need ideas for a single room without a floor kitchenette a lot of small appliances (i.e. mini george forman grills) are banned from residence as well, but i'm a rulebreaker i'll sneak a coffeepot / little hotplate in i did buy a little fridge too (3.2 cubic feet with freezer)

Anyone have any fun stories of cheap food you used to make as a student living in residence? I know the traditional Kraft Dinner made in a coffee maker story...but any more? Or any simple meals with bang for the buck I might try to make in residence? I cook a lot for a student, but I'm always looking for new and interesting recipes to try out in Western when I move there in September! Thanks!

Do regular grocery stores sell miso? or am i stuck going to an asian grocer?

Anyone know any good fondue places? I know only of Radical Jack's and its rather bleak :( Is there a fondue place any of you would recommend in downtown Toronto? A moderate price range would help too :)

is there anywhere in toronto that teaches how to make sushi?

hi :) I'm looking for sushi grade salmon, tuna belly and red snapper. I know this has probably been posted before, but I'm a highschool student and am clueless about wholesale ordering and the like. I was more wondering if there's anywhere in Etobicoke I could obtain it (probably not, i know, but worth a shot!!) or somewhere in downtown Toronto where I could find it easily and where the staff would be kind to a highschool kid who's interested in doing their own sashimi :) Any help is appreciated! :)!

i see salmon and fish :) are those sushi grade? :) and if they are, can i have prices? :D
