Well, the reason for the list as such is that the dealership in Sweden is government controlled, alcohol monopoly, and for that to work they have to have a rather decent list to order from, which would be the top part, the bottom part is the general stock, always available. The product I'm looking for is definatley a straight up drinker, fit for several situations, although not primarily as a digestif.

I'm looking for new experiences in drinking rum, and wanted to get some feedback on what to try and what to stay away from, this is the list of rums that I have to choose from, which ones would you recommend that I try, in this case for straight up drinking. I tried searching the forums, but couldn't find any feedback for Rum Plantation Grande Reserve Barbados (Cognac Ferrand), unfortunatley I need to get a bottle of decent rum for the weekend, and it's either this one or Havana Club Añejo Reserva. It's not impossible that it will be used both as a mixer and a straight up-drinker, any comments on which one to choose?

  6. Actually, The two components would be Gravad and Lax, Gravade is the Perfekt form of the word, as in "Anna gravade laxen" (Anna pickled the salmon). Nothing big, but still worth pointing out. And Gravlax on Sea bass is indeed wrong, it would rather be Gravad Aborre in Swedish. We also pickle Whitefish (lavaret) where I live, it's quite good, Gravad Sik in Swedish.
  7. I've found that I have the most success with cracking the eggs all over with my knuckle, it takes a little while longer, but even with gentle rolling I've had eggs that broke. I peeled 60 eggs this way the day before yesterday, only one or two were causing me problems, and those were quite fresh. I couldn't feel my hands after all the cold water, but that's not important.
