  4. Charoset- the Ashkenazi kind- yum!

  5. Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and bananas- whirled in the blender with some almond milk. This is NOT cooking, but it IS delicious!

  11. biscuits, and then some more biscuits! I'm using the 2-4-6 recipe this week- 2 cups flour, 4t baking powder, 6T fat. Pinch of salt, just enough water to make a loose dough, any milk if you have it(almond, soy, rice, goat, cow, buttermilk), we don't. 425F oven, 'til browned and risen. EAT.

  14. Sweet potato pie made with molasses and Old Monk rum, a molasses based Indian rum- serious delicious.

  15. Eating:Immense brown crimini mushrooms sauteed in olive oil with garlic, tomatoes and roasted yellow acorn squash.

    Drinking: Old Monk rum and almond milk.

  18. A lovely plate of fresh whole wheat egg noodles with a simple white sauce- comfort food!

  19. A fresh loaf of banana bread with a dark chocolate cinnamon icing- too delicious!

  20. Tonight I am eating a half batch of my daughter's latest brownie experiment, unfortunately, it is delicious!

  21. Today I am eating cake batter from the anana cake that I am baking for the local tearoom- in the cutest Colonial era above-the-store kitchen! Yep, even now I can not resist being roped into making some kitchen messes!

  22. I am eating frozen sliced oranges. I am eating a LOT of homemade breads and beans these days, alongside heaps of roasted squashes- it's winter at Cape Coop!
