Hi, I recently did a bit of research on publishing for a completely different project and there are a lot of good resources to be found on the internet. I love this recipe for Sugar Cookies, it's from a Norwegian book called Småkaker (Cookies). It makes a lovely, crunchy cookie. I've modified the recipe slightly. 200 g flour ¼ tsp salt 2 tsp baking powder 115 g unsalted butter, room temperature 225 g sugar 1 egg flavoring (lemon, vanilla, cinnamon, almond) Mix butter and sugar. Add egg and flavoring. (I like vanilla, about ½ ts.) Add dry ingredients. Roll dough into a cylinder and wrap it tightly. Refrigerate at least an hour. Cut into slices, about four mm thick. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 12-15 min. The refrigerated dough will keep for several days or can be frozen. (I usually slice it before I freeze it and bake the cookies straight from the freezer.) Anna

Noma also looks really good, but I'm not sure I can talk my friends into going there. They'll probably think it's too expensive. How about suggestions for Dim Sum or Vietnamese? If anyone knows the location of the american store in København I'd love the address. I'll be visiting København in November and I always try to stock up on the things I miss from the US and can't find in Oslo whenever I travel. Any restaurant recommendations are also welcome. Does anyone know of a good Korean restaurant in København? (Another thing that doesn't exist in Oslo.) Anna

As a nice, nutritional Sunday breakfast I had some sugar cookies. Baked yesterday in honor of the new Harry Potter book, they were by far the most tempting thing in my kitchen this morning. And they were good. So good I actually ate four of them. I think lunch will be featuring some kind of vegetable. Anna
