You should go check it out next week for Restaurant Week. Both Elysian and Amanda's are participating.

This is hands down my fav breakfast place. I get their brown rum sauce on the side with every breakfast dish and even buy it to use at home with anything i can. I'm a regular at Holmdel - Anne being the best waitress. They are even opening up a new location next year in Hoboken - yippeee! Tamara

Hey Glenn! I agree $3 is about pretty standard for a "gourmet," supersize dog. I recently went to a supposed famous hot dog place in Chicago paid $4+ for a dog and then got told off (that's their marketing plug - insults with your dog!)! :) Now's a good time to start it too - summer is synonymous with good hot dogs! tamara

Because it is summer we're going to try to make it more festive... with afterwork happy hours and drink specials to get people to stay later and then dine out. We also have a stronger marketing plan with more advertising outside the Hudson area and a longer timeframe which we didn't have the opportunity for the first-time around. We're also hoping to have more restaurants and the restaurants that do participate to offer a greater variety of dishes. We're preparing for summer Hudson Restaurant Week (scheduled 7/25-8/5) and wanted to find out some info from this group of well-versed diners, restauranteurs, etc. Did any one try it out in the winter? Any restaurants we should solicit stronger? Comments/Suggestions? We learned a lot the first time around and hope to keep building a stronger program. Oddfellows - is pretty good. Right now every Tuesday through end of May they are doing a live crawfish boil which is great - if you like that stuff. If you like latin food - try La Isla. It looks like a hole in the wall but the food is consistently great! On the higher end I've never been disappointed in the new Quays restaurant and 3Forty. Hi Curlz - Thanks for your comments. We were actually going to post additional info and each restaurant will have their own page with menu and further details tonight. The preliminary site info and email was a sneak peek for those that registered to the Hudson Restaurant Week site. All print & marketing materials will have all restaurant info - because yes it's to entice potential customers to get to know these restaurants!
