  1. Well, I was not looking for the TOP places. We are going to be in town on Friday and Saturday, and I am sure that the top places probably require reservations farther in advance than I would be able to give. I was looking for mid to upper level. Thanks, Kristen
  2. Hi! We are going to be visiting your fine city and I am looking at some interesting places to eat. Anyone been to: Savoy? Jump Cafe? Mildred Pierce? Hot House Cafe (brunch). Thanks in advance for your help. Kristen
  3. Ok, so here is the first official l stupid question. What is the difference between the prices? Do you get something extra for the other prices or is it just more generous? I did look in the prior year posts, but they are VERY long. Thanks, Kristen
  4. I live in Long Branch and agree with all of the above statements. (Love Tri-City News). Just a question about the term tourons - is that tourist and moron put together? If so you are just brilliant. Kristen
  5. Thanks so much!!! We are leaving tomorrow and I will report back! Kristen
  6. Hi, My hubby and i are going to be in Bar Harbor for about 2.5 days... can anyone give me a few suggestions. We are looking for things that are all over the map, some expensive and some cheap eats... but GOOD is the key. We are going to Red's Eats on the way home based on others recommendations. We are also stopping at Ted's in CT on the way... we saw it on Hamburger America... steamed burgers... hmmm. Thanks, Kristen
  7. Does anyone know where one could purchase good butternut squash ravioli? I went to a fab place in Hudson Valley area this week and would love to recreate the reciepe. I live in Monmouth County, but even if it is over the internet, that would be ok too. Thanks, Kristen
  8. Hi, We are thinking of coming to Philly this weekend for dinner and my new fave obsession - Capogrio. Has anyone been to Continental, and if so can you tell me what you think? Thanks, Kristen
  9. Hi, I like KK when they are hot, and hot only. BTW - there is a KK in Brick, NJ! YUM Otherwise I like DD. They are good, but we had some AMAZING mini donuts in Seattle at the marketplace. OHHHH they were good, the best i ever had. Kristen
  10. I have to agree Juanito's is great. I like the Bistro in red bank, but only because I like the asian cesear salad they have. Have fun. Kristen
  11. Hi, last weekend we went to philly and went to the most amazing gelato place... I had lemon and purple basil gelato (amazing, superb) I was hoping there was a really good place in NJ so i dont have to drive 1.5 hrs both ways to satisfy my craving... Any ideas? Kristen
