  1. I live in the area and have been to Hog Hollow several times, it has been here for at least 5 years. Directions From Route 78 West Take the last exit in NJ- Exit 3 Route 22 West Go past Shop Rite on your right ( about 1 mile), get into the right lane and make a right turn at the light onto Route 519 ( Honda Dealer is on the corner), at the next light is Route 57 make a left, Hog Hollow is on the left about ¼ mile. If you like hog dogs, and I know you do, if you continue on Route 57 past Hog Hollow onto Route 22 West on the right you will see Toby’s Cup. Holly Eats gave it an excellent rating. If you go get an extra thick shake, to die for! From Route 22 from Easton Take Route 22 East, at the route 57 split stay in the left lane onto Route 57, Hog Hollow is on the right side after the traffic light about ½ mile.
  2. Here are a few places to try in the Clinton area, all are located within a few blocks of each other. Tomato Cafe, 17 Main St. Clinton 908-238-1922. Great Italian food, Have eaten here many times, never a bad meal. Good service, fantastic bread with oil and pesto, is to die for. Small place perhaps 25 tables, so get in early or you will have to wait, it is worth it. Walk around downtown Clinton, very nice place to spend time waiting for your table. The Clinton House, 2 West Main St. 730-9300 http://www.theclintonhouse.com in the same area, is also good, wife has eaten here, but I have not. We also like Blue Cactus Southwest Kitchen, 908-735-2244, 1 Route 22, Clinton, if you like Texmex you will like this place. We have eaten here several times and have gotten take out too.
  3. We love to go to Keyport Fishery in Keyport, NJ. They fry all kinds of fish, and shellfish or you can buy the seafood and cook it yourself. You buy it and eat it in your car, no tables, just counter service. They do not have lobster that they cook for you but you can buy lobster. You can get a sandwich platter with shrimp, cod, scallops etc with french fries and coleslaw, or you can buy the shrimp or what ever you want by the pound. We usually get a pound of shrimp and scallops and some coleslaw and skip the fries. The food is fresh and by far the best tasting we have found. It is located on the 150 West Front Street in Keyport.
  4. Living in Warren County we get fresh corn from our back yard garden! When it has not come in the garden, many farmers put a bunch they just picked on the back of a pick up and sell it. So good. With all the rain we have had this year the corn crop is outstanding. We microwave the corn. Husk it; roll it in plastic wrap, high setting for a few minutes, perfect corn.
