  1. Just got back from the Eastern Shore in Maryland and had two fantastic meals while there in Cambridge. We went to a new restaurant called Bistro Poplar on Sunday night and liked it so much we went back on Monday. Very, Very good Bistro food. The Duck confit was tremendous, and the frisee and asparagus salads were delicious. I also had the sweetbreads as a starter and was very impressed. For entrees we had the steak frites, trout, leg of lamb and the gnocchi and were all top notch. I highly recommend this to anyone who is from or is travelling to the Eastern Shore and in search of a great meal.

    Top Chef

It's funny how it was sooo important that the irishman used his finger to taste the sauce, when not one person was shown washing their hands before joining the line!!! they were all backstage doing "something" with their hands and then they came out and plated food with those same dirty fingers. The mouth is much more sanitized than say their hair, or the floor.
  3. I can only imagine, must've been a special night.
  4. Did anyone eat at "the Laundry" this past weekend for the 10 year anniversary?

    Per Se

It's gonna be "V" steakhouse tonight. Bruni's only been to Per Se twice. I'd bet he goes one more time.

Where to begin without pissing more people off. Chop: I don't mean to show disresepect, I only said that because you stated in a different thread that the restarant is having a difficult time hiring a sous chef, and that could be a reason why. And where I work has nothing to do with it. XYZ: Does t bother me what he has achieved? Absolutley not, what bothers me is what he has made money off of. Robyn: I'd rather not post on this board what had happened with the chef and his employees.
