    Batter Blaster

But how safe is it to eat? I have made pancake batter and I never leave it in my refrigerator for more than 1 day --- how do they make it microbiologically safe? Hmmmmm?????
  2. Looks like Pepsi Edge wins in a taste test against C2 by a landslide. http://www.nbc4.com/consumer/3670749/detail.html What I find interesting is that it's not even close!
  3. There is a product line called "White T". They do have reviews on BevBet. They have a Diet Peach made with Spenda and it tastes great. Problem is that it's hard to find.
  4. Your local Pepsi bottler determines what sizes and what packaging the PE is distributed. I live in Sacramento and we have both 20 oz botteles and cans in all the local stores. Call your local pepsi bottler and see what they say. I would be curious as to what their spin on not having it available is. Let us know R
  5. New Pepsi Edge ads this week: http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/040701/nyth098_1.html
  6. That TAB idea with 100% Splenda is great!. I remember those 70 ads and they were something else. That would also give Coke a easy out and still keep face. Tab does need a face-lift and 100% Splenda could be the answer. They would have to make sure they got rid of that mettalic taste like Pepsi has, but I am sure it's possible. Glad you also agree that the Pepsi Edge tastes better than C2. I think the difference tranceds the usual Coke/Pepsi taste preference boundries. That aftertaste is awefull and if you can have the same product without that metallic aftertastet and no aspartame, then why drink the bad tasting product. Just my 2 cents.....
  7. Read the Diet Rite Label again... It's not just Splenda (sucralose). It was at one time, but they have since added Acesulfame Potassium (Ace K) into their product on top of the Splenda (sucralose).
  8. C2 is: HFCS, Aspartame, Ace K, Splenda (Sucralose) I know my opinion sounds bias, but the difference between the two is really amazing. But...... I will wait to hear what others say when they finally try it.
  9. Just a side note..... I had my family also try both products side by side and it was a slam dunk. Pepsi scored VERY high and everyone loved it. It's the new cola at this house. The Coke product was weak, had added lime notes and was very artificial tasting. Pepsi wins the cola wars with this new product -- BIG TIME!!!!!
  10. Tried them both :-) IMHO ….. Coke C2 has an artificial sweetener taste. To me, it was very obvious. Tried the Pepsi Edge yesterday and "wow". No artificial sweetener taste. A little sweeter than the regular Pepsi, but in a word.... Awesome! Maybe it’s because Pepsi’s product is sweetened with Splenda only, but imho, it tastes much better. Wonder how come Coke did not opt for the straight Splenda sweetener. Hmmmmmm
