Will a 19 lb turkey fry ok?

Thanks for the replies. I ended up just putting it on the lowest rack, not using any baking stones, and it turned out pretty well. Although, having never made a genoise before I can't say if it would have turned out any different by using the regular bake element. Something I'll have to try once the oven's fixed.

Wondering if this has happened to anyone before... So I'm starting to make a genoise and turned on my oven to preheat. Checked it a few minutes later and saw sparks coming out of the bottom heating element. Turns out it broke in half. Would it be possible to make this using the top broil element set to the correct temp? Thanks!

Just started a batch using absolut 100 proof vodka, 10 lemons and 2 limes. I didn't have organic fruit, so I soaked them for an hour and scrubbed them. Hopefully it'll be ok. The wait to find out will suck. What am i gonna do with all these zestless lemons?

Wow, I use mine as a dice bag too...which is kept in a plastic korean hot paste tub with a bunch of miniatures..

Hi, I've got a desire to try out some home smoking (pork butt). I've got everything except the wood to smoke with. Are there any local sources in northern nj, bergen county, to get this stuff? The only things I've been able to find are wood chips. Thanks
