  1. Repost of (accidentally) deleted post: I freely admit to loving both Baja Fresh and Chipotle, especially the Baja salsa at BF (the black salsa mentioned above). I've been walking by the new Georgetown Chipotle every day, checking to see if it's open yet (it's not), since my inexpensive lunch options in G'town are so grim. One can only eat so many Booeymonger sandwiches. The chicken flautas from the Well-Dressed Burrito are a whole 'nother story. I miss working in Dupont Circle.
  2. In DC we have Moby Dick's House of Kabobs carryouts. The strange name doesn't seem to hurt their business at all.
  3. IKEA stuff I love: set of 4 yellow melamine mixing bowls, purchased 1989 box grater, purchased 1989 stainless steel spoons, ladles, whisks Other stuff that works great: cheap folded metal tongs with locking clamp (?) cheap expandable steamer disposable Gladware, Ziploc bags, those shower-cap looking thingies to put over bowls and stuff (these are the best!) what I haven't found yet: a flexible spatula that can get hot without melting or splitting, and go in the dishwasher, preferably at a disposable price. anyone?
  4. Hi, first post here. I've never seen anyone mention one of our favorites, the Thai Spice Cafe on Georgia Avenue. The restaurant is not much to look at, but the food has always been fresh and delicious when we've eaten there. In fact, we usually get it delivered, and are always impressed at the presentation, even though it's delivery food. Has anyone else experienced this place?
