Hi Shai, I live in Chiang Mai. This thread is better than most of the food boards in CM. I love Burmese food but the plating of these dishes is better than most of the Burmese/Shan restaurants I go to. The tamarind leaf salad looks better than most too. The only restaurant I know that does an eggplant curry is the "Burmese Library" just off of Nimmanhaemin. Do you remember where you got these dishes? Thanks!
