After reading this thread, I think I need to allow them to send me a book at least once a month.

Total aside here, but I've had nothing but problems with the Good Cook book club and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to buy my final book and have done with it.So are we all members of The Good Cook Club?

Some of my most interesting cookbooks I've picked up at used bookstores, garage sales, or the library's annual sale.

Tommy, you are right in every way. But a new cookbook is a new world.
Or, at least, pretty.

Sorry, JAZ. I wish I'd thought about bonus points to make it more interesting!
Too late now. But I am jealous.

this thread is bringing to the surface an untapped addiction in my personality!
in combination with the favorite cookbooks thread it may prove to be lethal to my finances.
no matter, circumnavigating the globe, making it to the moon are far more important.
if it's good enough for jfk and jules verne, it's good enough for me.

Dear Indiagirl:i've ordered three more but they're not here yet
no matter, circumnavigating the globe, making it to the moon are far more important.
Even though you are still waiting impatiently for your books, I'll add them now. 24,421.
And you're right. It's an addiction. But one that can be so easily rationalized!
