On a motorcycle with a GARMIN ZUMO 550 MOTORCYCLE GPS RECEIVER, possibly a helmet-mounted camera?

Or someone riding on the back of the motorcycle?

Reflections does not seem to show someone is on the back.

Photo seems to have deep depth of field, typical of helmet mounted cameras.

Of course I can be very wrong.

I'm thinking the person riding the motorcycle is taking the picture, but with a regular camera. Look at the reflection in the sideview mirror.

Tuscany? Maybe Hathor.

The pictures of the gearing in the transportation picture look like the works on the Inclined Planes in Pittsburgh. There are also many Orthodox churches there and very old neighborhoods.

In other words, I don't have a clue.

I agree the person riding is taking the picture. The reflection in the sideview mirror shows the hand is posibly pushing the shutter on the handle mounted view finder of the helmet mounted camera.

The other picture is the Tram system in NYC.

I don't recall Hathor doing Moderniste cooking. She was my guess, so I'll just wait for someone else who knows more about it to weigh in.

Maybe slkinsey? He's talked of travels to Italy, and has been active with the sousvide set from the beginning.

I'm making a guess - DanM - his wife just got an new Rancilio (and I notice the manual beside the machine). He's recently taken a cross country trip with minimal eats - freeze dried food, a small cooler etc which would be compatible with motorcycle travel.

Edit

OK - perhaps I'm totally losing it - his wife hasn't bought it yet, and it was his friends travelling cross country - more research required!

Duck, cassoulet and a tarte tatin? It's looking very French to me! I have no idea who that might be though.

My very thought; if it wasn't clear that it isn't the case, I'd be guessing it was you!
