I don't think it's a strawberry infusion, but I'm sure Chris will let us know exactly what it is when he starts in a couple of days.

Chris will be winding down tomorrow, then we'll take a day off and on the second day of the new year we'll get to see who lives here:

Wisconsin. I don't have a guess...
At least the first Little House book was set in Wisconsin. Later books took place in other Mid-West states.

I'd definitely think that book implies US. Anyone know what the net-looking thing above it might be?

The first photo looks like Kansas to me. That is about as "heartland" as one can get, I think.

The net-looking thing looks like stems from bittersweet but the berries are usually dark orange, unless it is a "faux" variety.

"There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who say: this glass is half full. And then there are those who say: this glass is half empty. The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!" Terry Pratchett

I don't think I've ever seen trees like that in Nova Scotia - and the stone looks wrong, too. It reminds me of the head of Sydney Harbour, I don't know why. Maybe it's Sydney, Nova Scotia?

As Bob Dylan would say, no, no, no, it ain't me, babe.

That tree looks like it belongs in a warmer climate. My first thought was Table Mountain, South Africa. Who lives near Cape Town?
