Really proud of my Facebook friend Olu Ogunlela who is proof that one person can make a difference. He has helped raise money for four bicycles to be given to Africans to be used to help with their chores- delivering coffee or cacao, getting to another village, etc. I am so proud to have taken a small part in this.
Chocolate has given me the creative outlet I haven't really had since I was back in art school taking classes with Endi Poskovic; I am thrilled with the opportunity to use my creativity again. This was something that I desperately needed to feel like me! I am so thankful that I have the chance & am supported by my family & friends, and have chef Michael Granata pushing my creativity.
