OK slag me off if you want but I've been through ten pages of this bleedin message board and I'm starting this as a new topic. Went to Locatelli for the third time on Saturday. Both previous times we have come away having enjoyed it but feeling something is not quite right, having been again I think it is the atmosphere of the restaurant rather than the food, it is perhaps that the restaurant space and the service don't quite match the style of food, which varies from simple Italian to 'modern L
We were very fortunate? The place was quiet so we had the booth to ourselves,but still had the wedged in effect. Heaven forbid what its like when six diners are eating! These seating plans look great to architects and interior designers,but in practice do not work. It certainly does not bode well for any conversation,everything can be heard by the adjoining table. Even the close proximity of the waiting staff,stifled ours. Not enjoyable whatsoever.
