Lidia,

You have employed "star" architects and designers on past projects. I have found that most architects and designers have no clue how a restaurant or kitchen function and will choose form over function if you allow them. Have you had similar experiences or any advice to offer?

Yes, I feel that the chef needs to be truly involved in the development and design of a kitchen with the architects. Their sense of function and space needs to be guided by the residing chef and the food that he/she cooks.
