Will be in DC in Aug. for third trip, however taking 2 elderly family members with me this time. One is extremely thrifty when it comes to dining out and both are quite picky eaters--nothing hot or spicey. Do you have any suggestions of nice places with good food yet economy prices (lunch $10 or less and dinner $15 or less)? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I could use more information. Are you talking $10 total, per entree, with wine or ...?
A number of good restaurants offer fixed-price lunch and dinner menus, where diners get several courses for say, $15 or so. Bistro Francais in Georgetown comes to mind.
