After the festivities with family Christmas day I'll be in Center City, probably in search of a drink and some more food. Who's open that evening?

I just got a Facebook invite saying that the Khyber Pass Pub will open at 5pm on Christmas day. They've got an amazing beer selection and great New Orleans/Southern food.

I'll be out of town, but if I were in Philly, that's where I'd be...

And here. These spots mentioned are more bar-like than those above.

...and from gfweb's list, R2L is a nice spot with a phenomenal view. Liberte is nice for a drink but I haven't had the food there lately (it's in the Sofitel hotel.) Square 1682 in the Hotel Palomar is a nice spot too.

Good choices all. From gwfeb's list consider the recently opened Tashan - way upscale Indian cuisine. They impressed the Inquirer's Craig LaBan
