I've got a few lunches free on an upcoming trip to Miami: any suggestions for casual dining venues? Bonus points for places I won't be too out of place by myself.

Are you going to be in South Beach, North Beach, downtown, etc.?

We've had very good food at Sardinia, and of course, Michael's Genuine.

2 fairly unique restaurants that reflect the ethnicity of Miami:
If you have never been Versailles is a Miami classic: Versailles
We really enjoyed this place Tap Tap(we went in the evening when there was live Haitian Music but I think it is open for lunch. Food was excellent and the art work (everywhere even on the bathroom walls) is amazing.

where ever you go, go for the stone crab, in quantity.

then true key lime pie.

all that other stuff that looks so good you can get anywhere.

not so the two items above!

pics would be good of your choice!

Well, I'm staying in Coral Gables, but I'll have a car and time to burn, so I don't really care where the restaurant is.
