A friend of ours is passing through DFW with a 4 hour layover. We want to pick him up from the airport and have a quick meal. Are there any good, non chain restaurants near the airport for a quick meal?

The older of the two Hyatts in the airport has a nice fine dining restaurant. Forget the name.

I'm a little reluctant to suggest this place as my most recent experience wasn't so hot. But you could take them to Hard Eight BBQ in Coppel. It's by no means great BBQ, but it's the "best" option that is really close to DFW airport.

Four seasons Las colinas is close. But four hrs isn't much if u leave dfw
