I am looking to learn about edible flowers that I can easily find/grow in New Jersey. Are there any good books or resources I can check out?

Off the top of my head--day lilies, pansies (and their cousins, violets and johnny jump ups), roses and nasturtiums. And the herbs of course--chives, oregano, borage. Squash blossoms.

There are a couple of titles on this specific subject by the English author (and herb specialist) Jekka McVicar.

Although they seem to be currently out of print, Amazon dot Com has them much more economically than the UK site (lucky you!)
