Does anyone know where I can buy great capers?

Try Savenors(Beacon Hill), or drive down to Sid Wainer in New Bedford. Sid's is worth the trip, and ask for a tour.

Thanks Tim.

I had looked at Sid online and only saw the capers packed in vinegar. It would be a good road trip.

Salumeria Italia, on Richmond Street in the North End, carries them. I've also seen them at Capone's, in Union Square in Somerville. Maybe worth calling ahead, just in case, if either is out of your way.
